Now, why is it that so many of us struggle with self-doubt when it comes to our intelligence? Well, there's this thing called "impostor syndrome," where we feel like frauds, even though we've accomplished great things.

Why We Doubt Our Intelligence

let's challenge the traditional view of intelligence. Think about people like Steve Jobs and Thomas Edison – they were incredibly successful, but didn't always have the best grades in school. That's because intelligence is more than just book smarts.

In fact, we all have a unique combination of these strengths, which I like to call our "intelligence profile."

But don't worry, there are ways to break this cycle and start feeling more confident in your abilities. Remember, impostor syndrome is common, and it doesn't mean you're not intelligent or worthy.

How To Regain Confidence

Question your negative self-talk. Is it really true that you're not smart enough?You can be smart even by knowing the simplest skill or knowledge!

And remember, you're intelligent, capable, and you have the potential to achieve great things!

Believe In Yourself

It's easy to compare ourselves to others, especially online, and start to feel like we're not good enough. And then there's "confirmation bias," where we focus on the things that confirm our negative beliefs about ourselves.

Comparison

It's about a whole range of skills and abilities. Think about things like strong memory, problem-solving, and being able to learn new things quickly. But there are also less obvious signs, like social insight, recognizing patterns, and creative thinking.

It's Not Just About Books

Start by recognizing the multi-dimensional nature of intelligence. We all have different strengths and weaknesses, and that's okay.

Our Intelligence ≠ Other People's Intelligence

Acknowledge your achievements and the hard work you've put in. You've come a long way, and you should be proud of yourself.
