Overplanning and overlearning often trap individuals in a cycle of inaction. Instead of focusing on meticulous details and extensive preparations, prioritize immediate action.  Execution, rather than perfect planning, is the key to progress and success.I have been on self improvement journey for more than 2 years now, but I sometimes, fall into the trap of watching too many self help videos, but never actually improving.

Take Action Over Planning:

Many beginners fall into the trap of constantly learning because they feel inadequate. This results in a cycle of perpetual preparation and no execution. The best way to build confidence and skill is to start taking action, making mistakes, and learning from them.

Overcome Imposter Syndrome

"The greatest skill one can develop is decreasing the time between idea and execution."

Thoughts are inspiration, Thinking is desperation.Overthinking often leads to procrastination and analysis paralysis. Instead, follow your gut instincts and act on your thoughts immediately. Your subconscious mind, which generates initial thoughts, often provides more authentic and inspired ideas than your conscious, over-analytical mind.

Non-Thinking is More Effective:

"Impatience with actions, patience with results"

Our subconscious minds are way too powerful.All we need to know is the "what", the "how" will follow. Take Action Before You Know The How

Seek wealth, not money or status. Wealth is having assets that earn while you sleep. Money is how we transfer time and wealth. Status is your place in the social hierarchy.

Understand that ethical wealth creation is possible. If you secretly despise wealth, it will elude you

Ignore people playing status games. They gain status by attacking people playing wealth creation games.

You’re not going to get rich renting out your time. You must own equity - a piece of a business - to gain your financial freedom.

You will get rich by giving society what it wants but does not yet know how to get. At scale.

Pick an industry where you can play long term games with long term people.

The Internet has massively broadened the possible space of careers. Most people haven't figured this out yet.

Play iterated games. All the returns in life, whether in wealth, relationships, or knowledge, come from compound interest.

Pick business partners with high intelligence, energy, and, above all, integrity.

Don't partner with cynics and pessimists. Their beliefs are self-fulfilling.

Learn to sell. Learn to build. If you can do both, you will be unstoppable.

Arm yourself with specific knowledge, accountability, and leverage.

Specific knowledge is knowledge that you cannot be trained for. If society can train you, it can train someone else, and replace you.

Specific knowledge is found by pursuing your genuine curiosity and passion rather than whatever is hot right now.

Building specific knowledge will feel like play to you but will look like work to others.

When specific knowledge is taught, it’s through apprenticeships, not schools.

Specific knowledge is often highly technical or creative. It cannot be outsourced or automated.

Embrace accountability, and take business risks under your own name. Society will reward you with responsibility, equity, and leverage.

The most accountable people have singular, public, and risky brands: Oprah, Trump, Kanye, Elon.

“Give me a lever long enough, and a place to stand, and I will move the earth.”- Archimedes

Fortunes require leverage. Business leverage comes from capital, people, and products with no marginal cost of replication (code and media).

Capital means money. To raise money, apply your specific knowledge, with accountability, and show resulting good judgment.

Labor means people working for you. It's the oldest and most fought-over form of leverage. Labor leverage will impress your parents, but don’t waste your life chasing it.

Capital and labor are permissioned leverage. Everyone is chasing capital, but someone has to give it to you. Everyone is trying to lead, but someone has to follow you.

Code and media are permissionless leverage. They're the leverage behind the newly rich. You can create software and media that works for you while you sleep.

An army of robots is freely available - it's just packed in data centers for heat and space efficiency. Use it.

If you can't code, write books and blogs, record videos and podcasts.

Leverage is a force multiplier for your judgement.

Judgement requires experience, but can be built faster by learning foundational skills.

Study microeconomics, game theory, psychology, persuasion, ethics, mathematics, and computers.

Reading is faster than listening. Doing is faster than watching.

You should be too busy to “do coffee," while still keeping an uncluttered calendar.

Set and enforce an aspirational personal hourly rate. If fixing a problem will save less than your hourly rate, ignore it. If outsourcing a task will cost less than your hourly rate, outsource it.

Work as hard as you can. Even though who you work with and what you work on are more important than how hard you work.

Become the best in the world at what you do. Keep redefining what you do until this is true.

There are no get rich quick schemes. That's just someone else getting rich off you.

Apply specific knowledge, with leverage, and eventually you will get what you deserve.

When you're finally wealthy, you'll realize that it wasn't what you were seeking in the first place. Most people sit in their room waiting for their purpose to come to them. They want to work on their passion, but they don’t know what it is yet.

How to find your purpose

Thoughts occur to us randomly. Thinking is what we intend to do. It is not something that naturally occurs to us.Thoughts are inspiration.Thinking is desperationGreat ideas come in the state of Non-Thinking. Thoughts come directly from our subconscious mind and it’s the combination of the gut feeling and desire.We always think about things out of desperation. We try to rationalize some decision, not because we want to do it, but because we are being forced by some external force to do it.

Thoughts VS Thinking

Thinking is the root cause of all suffering.Feed yourself this sentence everyday. Before sleeping, after waking up, before and after stepping into the bathroom, wherever you possibly can.Realize that most of the stuff is not in your control. If you can’t control it, then you shouldn’t think about it.

How to stop thinking

Most people do what society tells them to do. Do what you love the most, whether it be writing, teaching, starting a YouTube channel, becoming a historian regardless of how much it pays or how much respect it brings you.Money and fame is not in your hands. Allah has already written the money and fame you are going to receive, so why not do something you love.Your gut tells the truth. The Gut Feeling is just a thought from your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is a very complex machine.A thought from the subconscious mind is a sign from the Universe, The God.

Trust the Gut

Who said you have to figure out how to do certain things?You just need to know what you want, but not the how.You don’t have to solve the problem. The God Almighty has already given you a tool to solve complex problems; The Subconscious Mind.Henry Ford had very little formal education, but he had a strong intuition that he could revolutionize transportation by making automobiles affordable for the average American. His trusted on his intuition and everything followed.

But if I don’t think, how will I do anything?

The outcome is completely out of your control. The demand for relatable products will never die.Thanks to the internet, both of the businesses can now be run while sitting on the couch

The Business Model

The only common thing in every guy making $10k per month is that they post content online.<ul><li>Pick any niche you love & binge watch it</li><li>Take out clips from the videos that you think are good</li><li>Edit those clips with subtitles and flashy animations and sound effects</li><li>Put those clips on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube</li></ul>The worst case scenario is that you might not earn money in the next 6 months but you’ll have an audience to sell to & you’ll improve at what you love.

Build a Brand

Your niche doesn’t have to be the most famous niche. The famous niche never works. The niche you love works all the time.<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Open the YouTube App</li><li class="ql-align-justify">See your search & watch history</li><li class="ql-align-justify">The thing you watched a lot about is the thing you are interested in</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Use your already available knowledge of that area of interest and put content online. </li></ul>You could be interested in books, learning physics & maths or medicine & law. Whatever it is, just post content online related to that and build your personal brand.

Pick a niche

If you post consistently for 3–4 months, you’ll have gained a decent sized audience to monetize.<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Run ads on your profiles</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Do paid promotion for products or people related to your niche</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Try affiliate marketing</li></ul>

Making Money with Brand

Whatever you have built your brand around, you can now start selling products in that niche.If you are into self-help niche, then you can open a dropshipping store for books. Just make sure it actually solves a problem.Once you setup your store, go ahead and start promoting your products to an already existing audience that is loyal to you and trusts you, so they are more likely to buy from you rather than someone who paid for the ads for their bookstore.

Post 2–3 times a week and use the best strategies. Do this for 6 months and you’ll have a business that might be enough for you to quit your full time job.Pray to Allah for success, do dhikr. If you succeed then well and good, and if you don’t you’ll improve. The one thing I learned from my research was that willpower on command is a lie. Saying to yourself that you are not going to eat that cookie just simply doesn’t work.Willpower is actually a muscle. And by being uncomfortable slowly, you are training your willpower muscle to grow.Willpower is highest in the morning and lowest in the afternoon. Do your willpower draining task as the first thing in the day.

Willpower Is NOT On COMMAND

Since willpower is a muscle, rest your willpower muscle with a healthy activity such as socializing with friends or family members or sleeping.Overeating can destroy your willpower. So when Allah says,“There is no moving creature on earth but that its sustenance lies with Allah” — Quran 11:6Why do you then worry about money? If money were to sustain humans, then no billionaire would die and no poor would live.Don’t choose that career because it has high-paying jobs. Choose what really interests you and makes you happy.

Yes, it’s true that you have to do something in order to earn some money. Stop trying to justify your reason to earn money as gaining "freedom". Let me ask you this. If I take away all of the money from you, would you have freedom? Freedom can never be taken. You have a really wrong definition of it.

Stop worrying about money

<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Reading — 1 hour a day</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Writing — 1.5 hours a day</li></ul>Gain ideas through reading, understand them better with writing.Imagine Muhammad, who reads for 1 hour a day and writes for 1.5 hours a day.In just a matter of a year, Muhammad will have gained 100+ new ideas and understood them 100x better than any one of us.

The Most Powerful Habits

Reading is time-consuming, but instead of scrolling on Instagram for 20 minutes during your work break, pick up a book and read 2–5 pages. In a year, you will have read more than 1500 pages.<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Read multiple books at a time ( if you want to )</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Not all books are meant to be read completely</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Skip through boring or repeated topics</li></ul>

Write to understand your ideas better. Write online to help others too.
