I try to arrange podcast business for the afternoon. You’ll notice there’s no time for breakfast or lunch. I skip the former, and try to rush out for a quick sandwich for the latter, while doing the above social media stuff.

I stick my headphones on, and listen to classical music and movie soundtracks (shout out to Interstellar!). That way, there are no lyrics to distract me from writing.

I quite enjoy my nightly ‘me time’. I get into a state of ‘flow’, and the hours pass by, as I listen back to my podcast interviews. I still edit out coughs and weird sounds, while cutting delays between questions and responses.
Aside from the interview edit, there are many ‘sticky bits’. These are time-consuming tasks that make little difference to the efficiency of the podcast.
